International accounting issues
Accounting4actors was established to provide expert tax accounting for actors and advice on accounts, tax and business finances for anyone working in the creative and cultural industries. We are specialists in tax accounting for actors and we see a real need for our business. We are frequently contacted by performers, designers, writers, directors, craftspeople, fashion designers, models, classical and pop musicians, stage managers, stage technicians and more seeking advice or help with their tax returns!
We also specialise in sports industry workers - personal trainers, sports coaches working in football and other sports, and sports agents. For all these types of professionals and more, traditional firms of accountants often don't provide the the level of service we can provide by drawing on our intimate knowledge of the industry.
Through our work on tax accounting for actors, we have learned over the years that these types of industries require specialist knowledge. That's not only in a technical sense - a specialist in tax accounting for actors will often spot technical things which a 'High Street' or general accountant may not - but also because of communication, empathy and understanding.
We've worked in the creative and cultural sector for so long and know so many ins and outs of tax accounting for actors; we know so many industry people and characters, and they know us. Please enjoy browsing through our site and learning more about what we can offer you, and please get in touch for free with no obligation.

Accounting4Actors will take away the worry of dealing with international tax for actors, leaving those working in creative industries free to concentrate on what they do best. We offer help on overseas taxation to all creative industry workers whether they be actors, models, sportsmen, sportswomen, journalists or writers
For occasional work or income overseas, we do not make any extra charge above and beyond our normal fees.
"Accounting4Actors are proud to support the Adopt a Playwright Award"
“Playwriting is lonely, hard and taxing – to have an award that says the playwright matters and that their well-being matters is magnificent” Kwame Kwei-Armah
(Artistic Director, Young Vic)
"I really appreciate the time and care you took with my case; I will definitely be recommending people" - Ryan, London
“I unreservedly recommend accounting4actors – Jon is fast, effective, generous with his time and great at explaining everything. You feel like you’re in safe hands” - Clare, actor, Brighton
“Encouraging, wise, serious and helpful” - Laura L, actor, London
"Jon is our go-to person for all financial and business matters. What makes him so special is that he really understands the business of
theatre, and even more importantly he explains it to us in a way that we can’t help but understand it too. Very often with ‘experts’ you can feel disadvantaged as the explanation sounds more perplexing than the problem. I recommend him without reservation" - Annemarie, CEO, London
“They were so efficient, professional yet down to earth, excellent communication AND reassured me throughout the whole process.
I will for sure be using them again next year and the next and the next. I swear by these guys! You will NOT be disappointed.” - Deborah, London
